Just when you think you've seen everything Lady Gaga could shock you with, she goes and performs on her new Monster Ball tour covered in... blood.
OK, we're sure it's not real, but the visual effect is pretty startling.
She teamed the, er, fake blood, with a Madonna-esque leather crop top and dare-to-bare thong knickers, covered with sheer tights.
And that wasn't the only eccentric look she showed off as she kicked off her Monsters Ball tour in NY's Madison Square Gardens.

Gaga also dazzled in a huge star-inspired white crystal-look outfit, and pulled off a naughty nurse style in a see-through plastic dress with plasters covering her nipples. Ooh, matron.
