DESIGNER: Roberto Cavalli

INSPIRATION: The designer's own past collections, with a darker edge.

TOP LOOKS: Red carpet-ready flowing jungle print chiffon maxi-dresses with elaborate chokers, printed rocker trousers with embellished tops, pleated kilt skirts with pockets, paired with biker jackets.

WHO WAS THERE: Kelly Rowland, actress Michelle Yeoh and Duran Duran's Roger Taylor, plus MariaCarla Boscono on the catwalk.

WHAT WE THOUGHT: Cavalli delivered his signature rock-'n-roll bohemian with a fiercer, darker edge for autumn, emphasised by the "armour" - metal chokers, metallic bodysuits - beneath the flowing chiffon. His craftsmanship, particularly the elaborately detailed embroidery on leather, was taken to a new level this season. Jennifer Lopez will definitely come calling shortly.
