Catwalk Review: Rochas A/W 2011/12

Rochas a/w 2011/12

DESIGNER: Rochas

INSPIRATION: Masculine tailoring (we're seeing a lot of it for autumn) meets classic feminine silhouettes.

TOP LOOKS: Long satin column dresses (minus the bonnets), ladylike petal-skirted shapes, silk-and-wool blouses, relaxed tailored jackets.

WHO WAS THERE: All the top international editors.

WHAT WE THOUGHT: Marco Zanini has visions of a pared-down autumn, with simple shapes (either menswear tailoring or classic feminine cuts) and day wear that's been given a luxury upgrade courtesy of rich fabrics. We'd love to see some of those long satin column gowns hit the red carpet.
