INSPIRATION: Retro rock 'n roll.
TOP LOOKS: Metallic trousers tucked in lace-up boots, a mini dress embellished with mirrored sequins and beads, sparkling silver trousers and maxi skirt with braces and metallic blazers in blue and gold worn over jumpsuits with a sharp, deep v-neckline.
WHO WAS THERE: Kanye West, Jefferson Hack, Anna Wintour.
WHAT WE THOUGHT: Balmain brought the retro rockstar to the catwalk with this dazzling autumn/winter collection. The angular shapes and metallic textures were a vivid contrast to the low-slung jeans and ethnic inspired sequin embellishment but the sharp blazers, jumpsuits and figure hugging mini skirts were as sleek and sexy as ever.
