Damien Hirst Goes Psychedelic At The ICA

Made.com is collaborating with The Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) to allow artists including Damien Hirst and Jake and Dinos Chapman to customise their products and turn them into art in support of the annual fundraising ICA Gala on 29th March.

'Psychedelic' is the theme for this year's event, where guests will be treated to a dinner and party with live music, performances and art installations, as well as Sotheby's live and silent auctions. Made.com has donated products including its Hollander bikes, Piggy Bag beanbags, Arche lamps (Gary Webb's dripping striped interpretation is pictured below) and Champion Pro football tables to a select group of artists and invited them to respond to the gala's psychedelic theme to customise them.

Bidders in the live auction on the night will be able to compete for, among many other amazing offerings, Damien Hirst's take on the Hollander Classic Dutch bike, a Jessica Warboys Piggy Bag or Alison Jackson's celebrity look-a-like table football game.

All of the art works will be on display at the ICA from 23th to 27th March in a preview exhibition that is open to all and visitors are invited to make online pre-bids on the auction lots.
