Sir Elton John and his husband David Furnish - who became dads to baby Zachary on Christmas Day - have revealed they are sharing nappy changing duties 50/50, and are not suffering 'many' sleepless nights!
Speaking to the Daily Mirror, proud dad David said: 'We divide everything up equally, half and half, so no one gets too tired. Even nappy duty is 50-50, we both do our share!'
Asked if they were having many sleepless nights with the new arrival, David said: 'There haven't been too many sleepless nights actually!'
Sir Elton said their new son was 'wonderful': 'We love him, and we're just so happy. He's wonderful'
The couple were in London for the premiere of Gnomeo and Juliet- a retelling of the classic Shakespeare play with garden ornaments (!) - for which Elton wrote the music. They had to leave little Zachary in LA - but new dad Elton said he was missing his son 'terribly':
'He couldn't be here today unfortunately, because he's in LA and couldn't be moved. We're missing him terribly. But we couldn't miss this here today – this film has been 11 years in the making.'
