Little Girls Want To Be Princesses Like Kate Middleton, Not WAGs

A survey conducted by The Sun newspaper has found that young girls would rather be a princess than a WAG.

The poll found that most girls aged between 13 and 19 would rather live Kate Middleton's life than Coleen Rooney's or Victoria Beckham's, a result which flies in the face of a survey last month - before the Royal engagement - when more than half of youngsters polled wanted to be a footballers wife.

Kate Middleton's sense of style also proved a hit with youngsters, with the royal-in-waiting coming second only to Cheryl Cole. The survey also found that Princes William and Harry were the second and third most attractive men to teen girls, with David Beckham coming first.

When asked which profession they thought would make the best husband, the respondents cited a doctor, followed by a pop star, actor, prince and footballer.

The downside of being a princess was 'lack of freedom' according to half of the girls surveyed.
