Michelle Obama Pregnant - Or Just Another Internet Rumour?

Michelle Obama Pregnant - Or Just Another Internet Rumour?

Is Michelle Obama pregnant?

If the gossip blogs and websites are to be believed, then the White House could be welcoming a new arrival in July this year, despite Michelle telling chat show host Ellen DeGeneres in 2008: 'I think I'm done. I think our third child is this [the Presedantial] campaign.'

So has Michelle changed her mind? If the web is to be believed, then the Obama's are most definitely about to announce new baby news - or not...

The Weekly World News website claims Michelle, 46, is two months into her pregnancy, and quotes a White House 'source' as saying 'Michelle Obama is pregnant'. The White House Press Secretary, Robert Gibbs, has done nothing to thwart the rumours, by reportedly refusing to confirm or deny the story.

Meanwhile, over on the Celeb Gather blog, the rumour is being completely quashed, claiming more reliable sources than the Weekly World News would be breaking the news if it were true. The site does however trace the original story back to an astrologer in the Toronto Sun who, in a psychic forecast for 2011 babies, predicted Mrs Obama would most certainly be visited by the stork...

What a presidential pregnancy would do to the defence budget is the question being asked over at the Military Aerospace blog, proving that the 'is she' or 'isn't she' gossip is reaching far and wide, and not restricted to the showbiz and celeb blogging fraternity.

At 46, and 49, and with daughters, Malia Ann born in 1998 and Natasha born in 2001, Michelle and Barack may have decided their parenting days are behind them, or perhaps they do indeed want to hear the patter of tiny footsteps in the Oval Office. Whatever the truth in the rumours, the President and his wife are keeping mum for now, with no official comment either way...

What do you think?

Do you believe the rumours?
