Mum of three Nerys Evans has astounded midwives by delivering all three of her babies at the same birth weight.
Nerys, 35, is mum to Rhys, 10, Seryn, two, and four-month-old Nya, and they all popped into the world weighing dead-on 8lb 6oz.
Mrs Evans, who lives in Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire, with husband Nigel, 32, told The Sun:
'When it happened twice we thought it was just a coincidence, a fluke. We said, "Wouldn't it be funny if our third was also 8lb 6oz?" We thought the chances highly unlikely, so when Nya arrived at exactly the same weight we couldn't believe it.'
Mrs Evans said her nursing team were equally as surprised:
'Two experienced middle-aged midwives were present - and they said they'd never heard anything like it.'
Mrs Evans admits she is 'curious' as to whether a fourth baby would weigh the same:
'Everyone I've asked has been unable to say why it happened – it must be the maximum baby weight I can carry before they're cooked and ready to pop out. Part of me is curious to see if it would happen again, but we think three is pretty much it for us!'
