Believe it or not, the action hero is turning to fashion, developing a men's lifestyle brand called Stallone, which will launch in 2012, reports WWD.
Inspired by two of Stallone's most iconic characters, Rocky and Rambo, the collection will launch with jeans, shirts, outerwear, underwear and watches, followed by eyewear, grooming products, fragrance, activewear and athletic shoes, reports the paper. Stallone has been working with "great tailors" in Italy and the U.S. on the collection, whose target audience is guys between the ages of 25 and 40.
"I pay a great deal of attention to the way I dress," says Stallone. "When men learn to put things together, they start taking care of themselves better."
"I really believe I have an understanding of the male psyche on all levels," he explained to WWD. "I want to expose people to things that will work and this is the apropos time. I'm not experienced in this field, but we have the proper team to move this vision along."
We have our doubts about this, but he is a fighter, right? So we'll have to wait and see if he delivers any prize-winning fashions come 2012...
