A parenting website has revealed the 'types' school gate mums fall into, from the uber glam mothers, like Claudia Schiffer and Elle Macpherson, through to the Trendy Dads who are convinced all the mums fancy them.
Also featuring are Lycra-clad, exercise obsessed mums, and Corporate-mums who arrive at school clutching their BlackBerrys, and rarely do the afternoon pick-up.
PTA mum and Pregnant Mum also make the list - respectively found rounding people up to volunteer for events, and standing around drawing attention to their baby bumps - as does Competitive Mum and Late Mum.
The Mumsnet findings are supported by a recent poll from MumPoll.com, where two-thirds of 3,000 women questioned confessed to boasting about their child, whilst and a fifth said they tried to be better turned out each day than their school-gate 'competitors'.
