It was a case of light colours vs. basic black on the red carpet at the Academy of Country Music Awards, held in Las Vegas.
Nicole Kidman looked fabulous in a black skintight snakeskin dress by L'Wren Scott, which she accessorised with a fur bolero and Manolo Blahnik heels. Hubby Keith Urban matched Nicole in his all-black ensemble, but while his wife was her usual alabaster self, he looked like he'd overdone the fake tan with his spectacularly orange skin tone.

Other celebs in attendance included newly married Reese Witherspoon, who also went to the dark side in a strapless lace Marchesa dress, and Taylor Swift (who beat out Urban for the coveted Entertainer of the Year award), who looked radiant in pale yellow, embroidered Elie Saab couture.
