As queen of burlesque, Dita Von Teese and luxe lingerie pretty much go hand-in-hand, so it perhaps comes as little surprise to hear that the style icon is all set to launch her debut collection of ultra-glam undies.
And having found fame by stripping off to her smalls on the stage, we're thinking Dita knows her way around a beautiful basque or two, and probably owns more pairs of knickers than we could care to count - so we're expecting great things.
It's not her first foray into undergarment design: the burlesque beauty has previously collaborated with Wonderbra on a capsule lingerie collection.
But Dita's own collection - which she's working on with Lime Door brands - will also expand to include a series of dresses.
The performance artist took to Twitter to confirm the news, posting: "Just signed a new lingerie deal!!! Glam underpinnings in XS to plus-sizes! Launching in Australia, then going global shortly after. Excited!"
Dita's smalls are expected to land in the UK in 2012 - so we'll keep you posted!
