Maneater: Kate Moss Lands French Vogue's May Cover

21/04/2011 15:12 | Updated 22 May 2015

Kate's French Vogue cover.

Need to make an impact? Make Kate Moss your cover girl.

At least, that's Emmanuelle Alt's thinking. The new editor of French Vogue is on everyone's radar as she takes over the mag's direction from predecessor Carine Roitfeld.

So far, Alt has one issue under her belt. The April 2011 cover featured Gisele wearing a white lace Dolce & Gabbana dress (Minor - or major? - faux-pas: The same dress appeared on two other international Vogue covers this season).

For Alt's second effort, she stuck with the supermodel recipe, and went even bigger, recruiting none other than Dior Beauty face Mossy as her star.

Moss appears - and gets groped - on the May 2011 cover. In a play on masculine-feminine style, she wears an embellished smoking jacket and black trousers. Inside the issue, the supermodel-turned-designer is photographed wearing the latest haute couture creations.

Is this Kate Moss cover a hit or a miss? Leave a comment and let us know.
