The troubled star was found in violation of a court probation and sentenced to four months in jail and 480 hours of community service for allegedly stealing a $2,500 necklace.
Lohan was in custody for five hours at the Lynwood Correctional Facility before being freed after posting $75,000 bail.
"I see her intent [to steal] and I see a level of brazenness," Los Angeles Superior Court judge Stephanie Sautner said, according to People . "It was like, 'Let me see what I can get away with.' "
It appears Sautner's also been paying attention to Lohan's courtroom antics - of the sartorial variety - and she's not impressed."She thumbs her nose at the court," the judge said. "She walks into court with FU on her fingernails. I don't know what that's all about."
