EastEnders' actress Nina Wadia, who plays Zainab Masood, has banned her two children from watching the soap.
Nina says EastEnders is 'too adult' for seven-year-old Tia and three-year-old Aiden.
Speaking to Soap Life magazine, Nina said: 'They are too young. EastEnders deals with some very adult-themed story lines. I'm always surprised by viewers who stop me in the street and say their little children love EastEnders. Why do they let them watch it?'
EastEnders regularly rates as a favourite show amongst children, and was voted the number one programme for 4-16-year-olds in a survey by the charity Child Wise.
What do you think?
Do you let your kids watch EastEnders?
Or do you agree with Nina and think its story lines are just too much for children?
