Day one at the Hyères Festival
Spent the morning looking at fashion finalists at the stunning Villa Noailles. My fellow judges included Raf Simons, Vogue Italia's Carla Sozzani, Proenza Schouler and Tim Blanks.
This picture was taken on the balcony of the Villa at the opening night. The Villa was also the setting for some interesting exhibitions, curated by Raf. I spent the evening having cocktails and deliberating with fellow judges on who should win.

These are models wearing vintage Margiela in the History of My World curated by Raf Simons. All clothes from Raf's private collection of early Margiela and accompanied by beautiful furniture and art from his home.

Next stop is an exhibition of work by the photographer Erwin Blumenfield.
So many iconic fashion images in one room. He was so forward thinking for his generation. This was one of my favourite exhibitions at the Villa.

Day Two at the Hyères Festival
At the fashion finalist showroom. Still no decision made on who should win. It was great to look at the garments up close and talk face to face with the students.

Lunch for jury and press at the picture perfect La Pascalette château. I got a true sense of the South of France at this château. Breathtaking gardens and amazing food.
