Dolce & Gabbana's Central London store was subject to an attempted break-in and robbery overnight.

Pictures have just emerged depicting the aftermath of the incident, which took place at the brand's luxury boutique on Old Bond Street in the early hours of this morning.

The front entrance glass had been shattered, and the protective metal grill bent upwards to allow access.

But it's not the first time the Italian fashion house has been targeted.

A gang of thieves on mopeds carried out an attempted smash and grab on the same Old Bond Street store back in September last year, but left empty handed - despite again, causing hundreds of pounds worth of damage to the shop front.

It's yet to be confirmed if the thieves managed to escape with any goods this morning, or if anyone has yet been caught.

We'll bring you more news as soon as we have it.
