Natalie Cassidy's Partner Charged With Assaulting The New Mum

Natalie Cassidy's partner and father of her baby daughter, Eliza, will appear in court next week faced with two counts of assault by beating and battery, and two counts of criminal damage.

Adam Cottrell, 31, was held by police after officers were called to his and Natalie's home in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire on Sunday. Reports suggest the couple had been rowing, and the disagreement turned physical.

The couple have been together since 2009, and Natalie said she had found 'the one' in Cottrell.

Their daughter Eliza was born last October.

Hertfordshire Police confirmed a man had a been charged after they attended a call to Natalie's home.
