Apparently Michelle Obama's brush with British royalty has rubbed off on her: America's First Lady was looking positively regal as the Obamas made their departure from the UK this afternoon.
With their whirlwind London visit all wrapped-up, the pair were snapped for their final apperance on British soil at Stansted Airport - en route to the next port of call in their European tour. (The Presidential pair are off to France next, for a G8 summit.)
But we're just pleased that Mrs O said farewell in such style. The First Lady donned a purple ombré Peter Som dress and matching overcoat, fastened with a vintage brooch - which she teamed with patent pumps and a high-shine navy handbag.
