The Women's Tennis Association marked the onset of strawberries and cream season - sorry, Wimbledon - with a glamorous pre-Wimbledon Party at the Kensington Roof Gardens.
It looks like the centre court stars were only too happy to ditch their tennis whites in favour of something a little bolder - Maria Sharapova in scarlet, Sabine Lisicki in orange and Serena Williams in emerald.
Our favourite outfit of the night, though, was Li Na's. The tennis champion teamed fierce peeptoe booties with a dress based on Delaroche's famous painting, The Execution of Lady Jane Grey. Somehow it just works!
The rest of the guest list appeared far fonder of the traditional tennis white theme, with Holly Valance, Holly Branson and others embracing the pale palette.
And then there was Bethanie Mattek Sands' tennis ball dress.
