Actress Gemma Arterton wowed the crowd in this exquisite Balmain dress when she opened the legendary summer sale at Harrods earlier today.

While it's not quite the ensemble we'd usually sport first thing on a Saturday morning, we love the clashing prints and textures of the dress. And the black, toe-peeping booties are a fantastic match.

The simple hair works well too – allowing the dress to do all the talking – though bolder make-up would've made her look a little more, shall we say, awake?
