Apprentice Winner Tom Pellereau To Get His Own TV Show?

What's Next For The Apprentice Winner?

Apprentice champion Tom Pellereau may get his own TV show, after winning over producers with his friendly charm.

Lord Sugar hired Pellereau as his new Apprentice on Sunday and already rumours are circulating that the BBC could offer the well-mannered contestant his own programme.

This would come on top of the £250,000 investment prize granted to him, by Lord Sugar.

Producers are reportedly excited about his plans to inspire a new generation of inventors.

A source told The Sun: “Executives have been really impressed with the way he came over on TV. He is probably one of the most personable Apprentice winners and something of an underdog, which always goes down well with the British public.

"The BBC would love to do more with him. There is definitely a gap in the market."

Around 10.7million BBC1 viewers - a show record - saw Lord Sugar hire Pellereau on Sunday and now the bookies Ladbrokes have him at 5-1 to get his own series.

The budding engineer, who designed the world’s first curved nail file, has said he wants his win to inspire kids to get into inventing.

He told The Sun: "A lot of people have stopped me in the streets wanting me to help them with their inventions. This country is amazing at creating new things.

"We have been behind so many of the best inventions and technologies. Hopefully I will inspire others, particularly children."
