While the music industry is still reeling over the tragic and sudden death of Amy Winehouse, her fans have responded by paying tribute to her undeniable talent in the most appropriate way: by sending her award-winning album straight to the top of the charts.

Five years after it was first released, and the Mark Ronson-produced Back to Black has taken the top spot in the iTunes chart - as well as in 16 other countries - with sales of the singer's music expected to continue to rise throughout the week.

i still remember the first time i heard that album. i called my boyfriend and told him to find her on the internet. it was that good. it's still a favorite of ours, and he's a metal kid from the 80s while i grew up alongside hip hop. that album is truly something everyone can appreciate.
