Suri Cruise Looks Like A Normal Five-Year-Old - But Still Has To Cope With Photographers

Stepping out from a hotel in New York, Suri Cruise was snapped wearing flat shoes (shock, horror!), a pretty summer dress and a wide smile.

More often seen wearing princess gear while being carried in and out of restaurants by mum Katie Holmes or dad Tom Cruise, Suri looked like a normal happy five-year-old, rather than a cossetted member of Hollywood royalty.

And in a new move from the norm, instead of struggling under Suri's weight, diminutive Katie was left to carry her daughter's doll.

But Suri's childlike happiness was short-lived - the moment she and mum Katie, star of The Kennedys, were on the pavement, photographers started snapping.

Suri was forced to shield her face from the cameras, while her mother maintained her smile.
