Luckily Zoe Irwin, session and celebrity stylist and member of the Ghd Creative Board, is on hand to tell us how to recreate Cheryl's new cut, by adding long layers and texture to give an edgier take on the classic straight look.
This step by step guide from Ghd will help you recreate Cheryl's look at home:

2. Blow dry your hair lifting at the roots and round off the ends to create a sleek style with body. Bristle brushes are great for this.
