WHO: Basso & Brooke

IN A NUTSHELL: As is now trademark from Basso & Brooke, the spring/summer collection was all about the print, coupled with lashings of splashy colour. Clashing patterns chopped and changed throughout the show, from tropical Hawaiian-style motifs to abstract paint splatters, all on a series of soft, fluid sillhouettes - lots of draping, twisted fronts and billowing fabric. Hair was teased into messy backcombed ponytails, and retro sunnies added a tropical dose of attitude.

BEG, BORROW OR STEAL: Any of the flowing sheer maxis which closed the show. Oh, and we need at least one of those practically-a-work-of-art statement necklaces in our lives.

THE F-ROW: VV Brown and Peaches Geldof (officially today's most-spotted famous face.)

VERDICT: While some of the more outrageous prints could only be worn by the most fearless of fashionistas, the collection was cleverly balanced with elegant, wearable frocks that we're already wishing into our wardrobes.
