It's a brave woman who takes on a dress previously worn by Lady Gaga, even when that dress is a fairly innocuous little black one by Moschino, but actress Anna Faris stepped up to the plate on Tuesday to see whether she could best the singer in the battle of the LBD.

Anna kept her version super simple at a screening of film What's Your Number? with zero jewellery, a straightforward hairdo and a pair of ankle strap Louboutins. Gaga gave hers an Audrey Hepburn twist for the iHeartRadio Music Festival last week by adding costume jewellery, gloves, black platforms, sunnies and a Ferragamo clutch.
But which star looked better? We're inclined to say that Anna's look was simple to the point of being boring. Okay so Gaga seems to be actually playing the part of Audrey rather than just referencing her style but Audrey was a style icon for a reason so we're going to say Gaga-Hepburn wins this one.
