Scarlett Johansson Speaks Out Over Nude Photos

PRESS ASSOCIATION -- Scarlett Johansson has spoken of her need for privacy - after nude pictures of the actress were leaked online.

The FBI is reportedly investigating the leaked snaps of the Hollywood star, from a private mobile phone, which appeared on websites earlier this month.

Asked about how she felt about being in the public eye, the Iron Man actress told CNN: "Just because you're an actor or make films or whatever doesn't mean you're not entitled to your own personal privacy.

"If that is sieged in some way, it feels unjust. It feels wrong."

The 26-year-old star - who won a best actress Bafta for her part in Sofia Coppola's Lost In Translation - said she had adjusted to living in the spotlight.

She said: "It's an adjustment, but I think there are certain instances where you give a lot of yourself and finally you have to kind of put your foot down and say, 'Oh wait, I'm taking it back'."

Within hours of the photos appearing, Johansson's lawyer reportedly sent cease and desist letters to the websites showing the pictures and most have now removed them.
