The pair were dressing up as part of the Live! with Kelly and Regis Halloween extravaganza but, given that Kim Kardashian filed for divorce today, their timing was exquisite.
Nick Lachey - who as it happens was one half of reality show Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica which all ended in divorce so should probably tread rather carefully with his satirical stilts - was on the show in place of Regis. We're not American so we don't really know who Regis is but we hope he feels better soon.
SIDENOTE: We are now wondering (as we mourn the end of one of the greatest televised love stories of our time wherein the bride and groom rarely saw each other) whether the limited edition wedding fragrance concocted by the marketing machine that is Kim K now smells of hollowness and insincerity rather than pink freesia and redcurrant.
SECOND SIDENOTE: Is there's a snowball's chance in hell the defunct couple will be returning any of the $172,000-worth of gift list items?
