Katie Holmes was out on the red carpet on Sunday night in a sheer-ish orchid (that's magenta) and black dress from her own fashion line to promote her latest movie, Jack and Jill.

The movie star opted for the floaty look for the Los Angeles premiere of the film as she contended with some less-than-summery weather.
The thing is, despite the sheer panels and despite the bondage-y heels and despite the relatively low cut and despite there being a giant woman behind her about to bite her on the bottom, she's still managing to look prim and pretty rather than sultry and sexy.
