Disney Sing It Review - New Titles For Nintendo Wii And Playstation 3

Disney Sing It Review - New Titles For Nintendo Wii And Playstation 3

Last year we reviewed some of the great games you can play if you're holding a Nintendo Wii party, and a clear winner was the Sing It range, where everybody can sing along.

Essentially, these are karaoke games where you gain points if you can hit the right notes. You'll need a microphone to play - all the games in this series have versions available with the microphone included (priced around £35), but these games are disc only. So for this year's parties, here are the latest titles in the range:

Disney Sing It Family Hits

Disney Sing It Family Hits contains 20 songs the whole family will know and love. After a few sherries on Christmas afternoon, even Grandma will be joining in . If Katie from X Factor can sing a Jungle Book number, then so can we.

Songs include well known numbers from Mary Poppins, The Lion King, Toy Story and many more. Admittedly there are a couple of fillers - anyone for Almost There from Princess and the Frog? No? Didn't think so - but in the main these are songs you will know, love and belt out with gusto. Perfect excuse for a party.

Disney Sing It Family Hits is out now for Wii and Playstation, RRP £24.99, currently reduced to £16.99 at Amazon

Disney Sing It Party Hits

And for older girls, there's Disney Sing It Party Hits, featuring recent pop tunes. A lot of this might pass you by if you haven't seen Camp Rock 2, but they're all catchy numbers which are easy to pick up. If you want to channel your inner Justin Bieber, this is the game for you.

A good party game for girls aged 6 and over who enjoy frightening the neighbours by shouting 'Boom Boom Pow!' a la Black Eyed Peas.

Disney Sing It Party Hits is out now for Playstation and Wii, RRP £24.99, currently at £20.43 on Play
