The Princess Diana, Sandra Bullock and Liz Hurley - and that have previously graced red carpets at iconic events such as the Oscars, Golden Globes and British Fashion Awards.
Designs by John Galliano, Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood are already confirmed to appear, but we're sure that by the time the exhibition opens next summer, it will have attracted a whole host more.
Ballgowns: British Glamour since 1950 will run from 19 May 2012, right the way through until 6 January 2013 - so you'll have plenty of time to get your historical fashion fix.
