'X Factor' Reject Janet Devlin Offered Record Deal By 'Dragon's Den' Star Duncan Bannatyne's Label

Janet Devlin's 'Raw Talent' Wins Her A Record Deal

X Factorreject Janet Devlin has been offered a deal by Dragon's Den star Duncan Bannatyne's record label.

The 17-year-old Irish singer was kicked off the ITV show at the weekend, and Duncan's RKA Records were quick to approach her, according to Music-News.com.

Co-founder of RKA Records, Ryan Ashmore apparently told the site: "With Janet's amazing talent and great image I just had to put my offer out there. She is destined for success and I'm sure RKA and Janet can have a great relationship and achieve great things together."

Janet's agent Dean Maynard is quoted as saying: "There is always a demand for an artist who shows true, raw talent and the future for her will be bright. She has the tour then she will weigh up her options, choosing the right path when the time is right."

She said: "I'm not X Factor material, and I've said this from the audition, I'm just who I am. I don't think it's what The X Factor wanted. I'm just glad they still gave me the opportunity to be on the live shows."
