Why Six Children May Not Be Enough For Angelina Jolie

For most of us ordinary mortals, having a family and juggling a career leaves us exhausted. But just when you thought mum-of-six Angelina Jolie had done her bit for the cause of super-motherhood, she has revealed she could get pregnant AGAIN.

The celebrity super-juggler balances looking after her family with running her own career, supporting her partner Brad Pitt's and globe-trotting for her humanitarian work.

But she says she still has enough energy for another child. It makes us want to go for a lie down just thinking about it!

Angelina, 36, chatted about love and family life to Marie Claire magazine. She and Brad already have six kids - Maddox, 10, Pax, eight, Zahara, six, Shiloh, six, and Knox and Vivienne both three – but there's always room for one more.

"Nothing planned at the moment," she said, "but we just don't know. I could end up pregnant."

The actress-turned-director, whose new film In The Land of Blood and Honey is released in the States next week, gave an insight into her touchy-feely relationship with Brad – and how their children like it (as opposed to reach for the sick bucket) when they have a kiss and a cuddle in front of them.

If they see Mommy and Daddy in need of some private time 'cause they're going to kiss and whatever, the kids get all giggly and happy. Because it gives them some security," she said.

And she revealed that although she and Brad have no plans to get married, their children have other ideas.

"They have mentioned it, yes," she said. "If you take it in an emotional way, you think, Ohhh, the children! They don't feel secure enough! But then you think, Now, wait a minute: They think a wedding is a party with a four-layer tiered cake!"

Despite appearing to be the Woman who Has It All, Angelina confessed that there is one thing missing in her life: female friendship.

"I don't really have girlfriends in movies," she said. "Well, I have a few girlfriends, I just... I stay at home a lot. I'm just not very social. I don't do a lot with them, and I'm very homebound.

"I'll talk to my family. I talk to Brad ... But I don't know, I don't have a lot of friends I talk to. He is really the only person I talk to."

Angelina credits Brad with helping her juggle her career with raising children.

"I have a wonderful partner in Brad and we take turns working always," she said. "Brad has expanded my life in ways I never imagined. We built a family. He is not just the love of my life, he is my family. I hold that very dear.

"I suppose what I've learned from Brad is to be able to have the kind of family whose happiness and well-being comes before your own. "I'm very, very grateful to have such a loving family, and I wouldn't have that without him."
