Will Smith has reunited with the cast of The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air, 15 years after the hit sitcom came to an end.

The rapper/actor had already tasted chart success as one half of the hip-hop duo he founded with his childhood pal Jazzy Jeff, DJ Jazzy Jeff &
The Fresh Prince, but he shot to international fame starring as a fictionalised version of himself on the TV comedy.

The show wrapped in 1996 after six seasons and Smith went on to become a Hollywood superstar with leading roles in films such as Independence Day, I Am Legend and the Men In Black franchise.

But he revisited his TV roots last week when he reunited with his former co-stars, including Tatyana Ali, Alfonso Ribeiro, James Avery and Karyn Parsons for a luncheon benefiting Parsons' African-American charity, Sweet Blackberry.

Posting a photo of the old pals on his Facebook.com page, Smith writes: "Got the Holiday season started right with a 'Fresh Prince of Bel Air' reunion...there's nothin' like spending Holidays with fam!"

The only cast members not in attendance were Daphne Reid and Janet Hubert, who starred for three years each as the sitcom family's matriarch, Vivian Banks.

I always liked the 1st Aunt Viv best...Hate to hear how she got treated, but, I'ts about talent not age in Hollyweird. I guess she pushed too hard instead of excepting that she had to adjust and go with the flow. She was the better aunt viv though.

I wish the major networks would green light another (predominantly) black sitcom like this. I guess we're not chic now.
