Lee Ryan Dropped From Celebrity Big Brother
Lee Ryan has been left feeling Blue after he was snubbed from Celebrity Big Brother because he asked TV bosses for more money.
The pop singer was offered £175,000 to join the upcoming series on Channel 5, but he was dropped from the line-up when negotiations over his fee failed.
Now ex-So Solid Crew star Romeo, real name Marvin Dawkins, has been recruited in his place.
A show insider tells The Sun: "Lee was all set to go but then he wanted more than £175,000.
"There was already a pretty high figure for him so the decision was made to call it a day with him and find someone cheaper.
"There's no doubt he'd have been good value but we can't be held to ransom like that."
The X Factor wildman Frankie Cocozza, Reservoir Dogs star Michael Madsen and Loose Woman Denise Welch are expected to enter the house when Celebrity Big Brother kicks off on Thursday night
