According to the Hollywood Reporter, John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, the screenwriting team behind the surprise $118 million hit Horrible Bosses have just signed on to write the follow-up...

The other big comedy hit from last summer, Bridesmaids, has also been at the center of sequel talk, but a new report from the Hollywood Reporter claims that Universal is ready to move ahead with a follow-up with or without star and co-writer Kristen Wiig.

WHY? Both films, while moderately entertaining relatively speaking, are your run-of-the-mill C+ films. Much like the Hangover. Hollywood keeps lowering the bar and we keep accepting it.
