That "shiny new store" is none other then 112 Greene St which was in a previous life the home of 112 Greene Workshop Gallery upstairs that had shown Richard Serra, Gordon Matta Clark, Chuck Close and hundreds of others while downstairs was the homes of Greene Street Recording which was HQ to music recording stars from Phil Glass, Sonic Youth to Run DMC, Salt & Pepa, Public Enemy, Ice Cube and many many others. And after the recording studio was closed, the owner staged a graffiti show with the likes of Lady Aiko, Dain, Bast. Stella McCartney is following in a long list of very creative people that made that space something much more then just another Soho store.

I don't know about her clothes, but she makes a wonderful scent. Picked it up in London, so don't know if it is available here, but it is divine!
