Kerry Katona doesn't exactly approach life in the same way as the majority of sane people so it's perhaps not surprising it has emerged she's going out with a bloke who "stalked her".

The former Atomic Kitten warbler's new man, Steve Alce, has had a chat with OK! magazine about his relationship with Kerry and he's revealed some interesting pulling tactics.

Steve said: "I fancied her in her Atomic Kitten days and I've stalked her ever since.

"Now I've finally got hold of her. Bizarrely it's the most natural relationship I've ever had."

Conventional! What happened to meeting through friends or bumping into each other in a bar?

Whilst loved-up Steve seems head over heels now, he admits he wouldn't have touched Kezza with a barge pole when she was on drugs.

He said: "I wouldn't have gone anywhere near her during her drug days.

"When Kerry went on Daybreak and they showed the slurring This Morning interview, seeing her look so upset, I wanted to run on set and take her away, it made me cry."

Despite posing for a glamorous photo shoot in Kerry's luxury Surrey pad and chatting to the magazine for probably quite a few pennies, Steve insists he is not looking to cash in on his girlfriend's celebrity status.

"I'm a private person," says Steve. "I don't want people to think I'm trying to jump on your bandwagon."
