Madonna Goes Roman Cheerleader For Super Bowl Half Time Show

We openly admit we have absolutely no clue what's going on when it comes to American football but we do know our Madonna and Madonna's Super Bowl XLVI Half Time Show was pretty darn spectacular.

Arriving onstage in a chariot led by approximately a squillion backing performers in Roman centurion-inspired costumes (was anyone else thinking of Kylie's Aphrodite tour at this point?), Madge launched into an energetic routine with squats a-plenty. Vogue and Music (with additional LMFAO vocals) got the super bowl treatment before being joined onstage by Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. for a Roman cheerleader-y flavoured rendition of Give Me All Your Luvin'. Madonna herself had three costume changes - gold cape, black dress, full-length black coat - all couture Givenchy.

And to finish? A slice of Like A Prayer with Cee Lo Green channeling his inner Andre Leon Tally in a super sparkly black choir robe.
