WHO? Stacey Bendet's New York label Alice + Olivia

IN A NUTSHELL: Bendet used the phrase "coquette cool" to describe her party girl collection of body-skimming dresses in bold jewel tones. Eclectic was very much the word, and there was a mix and match of patterns and prints, military styles, brocade, fur, wool, shearling and leather.
BEG, BORROW OR STEAL: The cargo pants in metallic leather and wool were standouts, not least because they incorporate an iPhone pocket. The brocade military style blazer also gets our vote, as did the lace prom-style party frocks.
VERDICT: The Alice + Olivia's aesthetic majors on girlie partywear - but things got vampier and just a little bit darker this season, and we loved this new strong and sexy vibe.
