Nicki Minaj has ditched her pontiff (not a euphemism) and is back to business as usual. By which we mean migraine-inducing neons, hundreds of baffling facial expressions and wigs-a-plenty (which, coincidentally, will be the name of the MyDaily travelling mime troupe). In this instance it's for the colour pop-tastic Mac Viva Glam campaign launch in New York on Wednesday:
Nicki was on hand to pose in a not-at-all suggestive fashion with a scene-stealing pink lipstick - the product of the singer's collaboration with the makeup brand. Profits from the sale of the limited edition lippy will go towards helping women, men and children living with and affected by HIV and AIDS.
But it's not just Nicki getting collaborative with Mac. Popstar Ricky Martin (Ricky 'n' Nicki!) was also launching his beauty effort - a limited edition lip conditioner to benefit the same cause.
Sidenote: We really need to talk about his current game show host aesthetic. It's actually causing us no small amount of joy.
Especially when he does some pointing. We're imagining him pivoting from camera to camera on his heel, giving each photographer a few moments of his earnestly beaming moustachio-ed chops. There would also be a really quiet 'ting!' noise as his teeth gleamed in the flashbulbs.
