Samantha Cameron took a break from muted winter colours and donned a dazzling Roksanda Ilincic neon look to host a very fashionable reception at 10 Downing Street.
Caroline Rush (Chief Executive of the British Fashion Council), MyDaily contributing editor (and designer) Mary Katrantzou, Roksanda Ilincic, Sir Paul Smith, Sam Cam, Natalie Massenet (founder of Net-A-Porter), Harold Tillman (Chairman of the BFC), Anya Hindmarch and Danielle Crook (of Vodafone - LFW's main sponsor).
The reception was held to celebrate London Fashion Week in general - Sam can often be seen taking her seat on the front row at shows - and to mark the launch the BFC's report on the Future of Fashion which was unveiled at the opening of LFW and focuses on the business and growth side of the industry.
According to BFC Chairman Harold Tillman: "We believe that fashion can do so much to drive growth in Britain. By presenting this opportunity, whilst highlighting the challenges, we hope to unite the industry and government in doing everything possible to drive that growth."
