Actress Charlize Theron has adopted a baby boy called Jackson.
In a statement released to Associated Press, Charlize's publicist said the actress "is a proud mom of a healthy baby boy named Jackson".
No further details have been released as yet.
Jackson is Charlize's first baby.
South African born Charlize has previously said that 'marriage was never something that was important to me'. Her mother shot and killed her alcoholic father in self-defence after he attacked her and Charlize.
Charlize, 36, who won an Oscar for her role as a serial killer in Monster, joins a host of other Hollywood mums who have adopted children, including Nicole Kidman, Angelina Jolie, Katherine Heigl and of course, Madonna. See the full role call in our gallery below...
