S Club 7 have signed a deal to reunite this summer, according to reports.

The seven-piece will be performing a series of UK gigs and one-off appearances and have lined-up a possible two-album deal, the Daily Mirror said.

A source told the newspaper: "The guys have been inundated with approaches and offers over the past three years, but always said no.

"But following a series of talks and meetings, they decided to go for it... It was a case of now or never... Everyone is really excited and frantically getting back in shape."

Rumours of a reunion for the band, who rose to fame in 1999 in the BBC series Miami 7, have been circulating for some months.

The group - Hannah Spearritt, Paul Cattermole, Jo O'Meara, Rachel Stevens, Tina Barrett, Jon Lee and Bradley McIntosh, enjoyed four UK number ones with Bring It All Back, Never Had A Dream Come True, Don't Stop Movin', and Have You Ever.

They were last seen together to support Jon's West End debut in Les Miserables in 2003.

Pop group and bestest buddies S Club 7 have announced, as a special treat for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, that they are planning to reform and tour this summer as well as releasing a Greatest Hits CD. I wasn't even aware that the Queen was that big of a fan of S Club, but I suppose Reach has a catchy chorus that even royalty can't deny.

@Lachiffre, why not again? I lived in Germany back in 2000-2003 and I enjoy their music. The show was a bit goofy but it's a kids show. I would have to hear their new stuff to see if I like it but their old stuff is great. I'm introducing my 9 and 6 year old to S Club and my daughter loves it (6). I say kick butt S club and good luck!!
