Caring Peter has even extended his home to accommodate his brother and visiting friends and family.
Before Andrew's move to England, Peter revealed to New! magazine: "At the moment, my brother Andrew is recovering from his operations for his cancer, and the big news is in a couple of weeks he's moving over to live with me with his wife Magda.
"They're going to live with me and my other brothers Mike, Danny and Chris in my house and we're going to look after him while he has treatment."
He added: "I'm going to build a small extension onto my house so there's room for everyone! It's not definite they're all going to move in, but at the moment that's the plan. I need an extension so that when I've got the kids there will be room for all of us."

I haven't read this article because I refuse to. I think it is sickening that I keep seeing headlines of Andres brothers plight, which sounds a serious, terminal illness and yet Andre uses his own brothers demise to promote himself in the media.
It is utterly sick, I hope Andre can live with himself, he should be utterly ashamed and embarassed. The problem is, people like him don't feel any of these emotions if it gets their names in the media, regardless of who has to suffer and that can include a brothers death apparently. Sickening, utterly sickening.

In reference to anfieldgirl comment - he is in the public eye only because people like you seem to need such people in the ''public eye''. For my part I - and you in reality - would not ever be any different if we had never ever heard of or seen the guy - that much importance has he. It gives you something to talk about - and the process of analysing crap comments from people gives me something to occupy my mind while I am relaxing for 10 minutes from actually doing work.
20 hours working a day does tend to give you a slightly different take on things. And the analysis of what some people - like this waster - get paid for nothing vastly tips the balance against the value of normal working people.

I have lost loved ones through cancer and it's not only terrible for the loved one that has cancer it's also devastating for the family to watch their loved one go through it but andre is spouting off to the paps every chance he gets to get himself publicity and the sympathy vote by saying i'm going to build an extension on my house and bring my brother and his wife to live with me while he's ill all, part of what he's doing might be in part for his brother but to me it says hey, look at me aren't i good, i'm doing this and i'm doing that etc, if it's not for publicity then he shouldn't open his mouth to the paps

His brother is a British citizen and Pete has stated that he (his brother) will be getting his treatment privately and I think Pete will probably pay more in taxes than most of the decriers on this site so his family using the NHS should not be a problem. What is wrong with the majority of Brits do they no longer have any compassion . I wish I had been in a position to help finacially when my mother was dying of cancer a battle she lost at 52 years old.

Pete said he would pay for private treatmet for his brother, but there is a reciprocal arrangement for emergency care between Britain and Australia, If someone is classed as a foreign patient they are checked out and depending upon where they come from they could be charged for treatment
