To be honest I feel quite strongly about this. Having first had breast cancer at the age of 39 I know (knew) several women diagnosed with breast cancer ranging from 26 to 50+, most of whom found their breast lump themselves!
I wonder (worry) for all these women, who go through breast enlargement surgery. Particularly younger women, (who aren't eligible for mammograms until they are 50). I very much doubt that, with these balloons in their boobs, they are able to accurately examine their own breasts for lumps and go asap to the doctors, to either discover their lump is nothing to worry about, or if it's not, improve their chances of survival by having treatment asap.
I don't like to bring down the mood, but I really cannot believe that this pursuit of the "Barbie doll image" is really worth the risk.

By pushing her implants in our faces, Carol Voderman almost distracts us from noticing that she didn't spend anything like the same amount of money on her mouth. The tell tale signs there are not of cosmetic dentistry but of NHS standard dentures, you know, the ones that come out at night. They're not the right size for her facial structure either. All that and the low forehead with the Richard III hairdo make for an horrendous effort. The woman has no idea.
