Robert Downey Jr Reveals The Avengers ARE Still Shooting Film, Despite Premiere Been And Gone!

Superheroes The Avengers haven't finished saving the world just yet - they are still filming despite the movie's looming release date.

Robert Downey, Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo and Samuel L. Jackson joined the other cast members at the eagerly awaited film's world premiere in Los Angeles on Wednesday, before talking to journalists at the junket the following day.

Downey, Jr. dropped a bombshell at the press conference when he let slip that the cast would be stepping back in front of the cameras to shoot a scene "later that night".

Director Joss Whedon attempted to play down the claims, but Ruffalo later confirmed the news, telling The Playlist: "We're shooting a scene tonight. I'm not sure exactly where it's gonna go. All I know is that someone came in with the costume and said, 'Here's some wardrobe. We don't know where you're going to be or what you're doing.' So I'm like, 'All right, when are we doing that?' 'Today after we're done.'"

The Avengers is due for release on 26 April, under the revised title of Avengers Assemble. Here's a sneak peek, below along wih some snaps...

All the ammo was used up, and now it's up to the Hulk to get it done...

When the original Iron Man came out did anyone else think, "Wow! That was like Mythbusters on steroids, Tony Stark makes cool stuff out of junk and then he uses it to blow things UP!!"

Don't know what to make of this one. The clips don't look great.
That said the best sci-fi film of recent years was Serenity, so Joss CAN come up with the goods.
Although he was also involved in Alien Ressurection and that was beyond awful.

His contribution to Alien Ressurection was the original script. That script was later rewritten by several others with numerous changes, but retained just enough of Joss' content to warrant keeping his name on it. It's just as well that the changes were made, since Joss' version of the crew of The Betty was basically the crew of Serenity. The changes made allowed him the freedom to create Firefly later.

I wonder why so few people have posted, I just want to say the Hulk is still lame a cartoon when will CGI be real? Inanimate objects look good, I liked Spiderman, Catwoman and Ironman their CGI was good to great but the Hulk, Not good, not buying it. Why can't they get rid of him have Banner killed so we won't have to see that stupid green animation again.
