Star Trek 2: Simon Pegg, Zachary Quinto Suggest Filming Is Complete

'It's A Wrap' For Star Trek 2

Simon Pegg and Zachary Quinto have suggested that filming on Star Trek 2 is complete.

The duo, who are reprising their roles as Montgomery 'Scotty' Scott and Spock respectively in JJ Abrams' as-yet-untitled sequel, dropped the hints on their Twitter feeds.

"Wind, reel and print. The countdown to May 2013 has begun," wrote Simon.

Zachary posted a picture of his chair, which has his name emblazoned on it, with the caption: "zq. Picture wrap. Holy s***."

Details surrounding the eagerly anticipated follow-up - which began filming in January - is being kept tightly under wraps, although it is known that Chris Pine will return to his role as Captain James T Kirk, alongside Zoe Saldana and Anton Yelchin.

Benedict Cumberbatch is rumoured to be portraying the villain, while Noel Clarke and Alice Eve also make an appearance in the film, which is scheduled for release in May 2013.
